MEDIUM: Table-sized freestanding sculpture
ARTWORK DETAILS & SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
This piece is a blend of light and motion. Twelve illuminated vacuum tubes put out a bright colorful display. Two variable speed motors power clockworks, pulleys, and rotating thingamajig . A small clock atop the clockworks keeps the time for you.
With the glass case, the piece weighs 12 pounds and has a dimension of 18” W x 12” H x 12” D. Three switches control the LED lights and motors. Two knobs are used adjust light intensity and motor speed. It is powered by an AC/DC converter wall wart.
